AUSTRALIA MEDAL – Emily Arthur, Ladies’ Halfpipe

Emily Arthur is the first Australian to win a silver medal at the Youth Winter Olympics.

The 16 year old from Sydney came second in the ladies’ halfpipe at Oslo Vinterpark Halfpipe, scoring 90.00. Compatriot Mahalah Mullins came 15th.

The gold medal was won by American Chloe Kim, with Jeong Yu-Rim of South Korea finishing third.

Congratulations to Emily, and good luck to the rest of the Australians.
