Round 16 Goal Kickers

Today the spotlight is on the 10 Top 100 goal kickers still going around in the AFL.  Whilst none of the Top 5 improved their position in the last round, there was significant movement in the lower ranks:

Jack Riewoldt’s 2 goals took him past Scott Lucas.

The big mover on the weekend was Eddie Betts.  Eddie kicked 3 goals to take his total AFL goals to 445 which took him past 7 champions of the past: Alan Ruthven, Dick Reynolds, James Freake, Jack Dyer, Malcolm Blight, Alan Jesalenko and Robert Walls.

Travis Cloke’s stand out game where he kicked 4 goals got his rise up the ladder kick started and he passed Roger Merrett and Alan Noonan and climbed into the top 80 of all time.

Josh Kennedy also kicked 4 goals and – as a result – he passed the goal less Drew Petrie and

ex Lion and Bulldog Jason  Akermanis.
